Instructions:
Take your fresh dough out of the refrigerator
and set out for an hour, or according to the directions on
the package.
Take your pizza pan and lightly cover with
Olive Oil, then sprinkle with Corn Meal to lighly cover entire
area.
Pre-Heat Oven to 425°
To Make the Sauce:
Pour all of the above sauce ingredients together. Depending
on how sweet you like your sauce, you can use as much as 1/4
c of honey. (For our first pizza we used the full 1/4 cup-
for the 2nd pizza we used the 1/8 cup- both were delicious
and it was divided in our household those who like the sweeter
sauce vs those who liked the less sweet, so it is just a personal
preference.) - Also, if your sauce seems a bit too watery,
you can add an additional Tablespoon of Parmesan Cheese at
a time to thicken it up. - But you don't want the sauce too
dry either.
Once your dough is ready, roll it out with
your hands lightly coated in olive oil in the pan. This is
much easier than trying to do it on the counter and then placing
in the pan. Once you get it to the correct shape, put in to
your pre-heated oven for 5 mintes to pre-bake.
Once you have pre-baked the crust, add your
sauce. Leave about an inch around the edges free of sauce.
Add the Mozzerella Cheese, then add your toppings. (We pre-cooked
the sausage and lightly browned the ham before we added it
to the pizza. - All veggies went on raw)
Bake at 380-400 depending on your oven for
25 to 30 minutes or until your crust is golden brown and your
cheese has melted.
