Seafood Macaroni and Cheese

3 cups warm milk
6 tbls unsalted butter or 9 tbls if not using cooking spray on baking dish(es)
1/3 lb. cooked crab meat
3/4 lb. cooked shrimp
1/2 lb. cooked scallops
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 clove minced garlic
3/4 cup cooked bacon bits
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup panko bread crumbs (plain)
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
1 cup fontinella cheese shredded
1 cup asiago cheese shredded



Pre-Heat oven to 375° -

  • Boil 6 cups water in large pot or sauce pan. Cook 1 lb large elbow macaroni according to box instructions but finish 2 min before al dente. (We found that for a 3 QT baking dish this was too much pasta, you may want to only use 3/4 of the 1 lb box - rest of the ingredients will stay the same.)

  • Melt 3 tbls butter in small saucepan. Use pastry brush to coat butter in 3 Qt. baking dish (Or you can just spray the dish with your favorite cooking spray - we use Canola Spray)

  • In another saucepan, add and melt 6 tbls butter, then add 1/2 cup flour and whisk.

  • Once thickened add 3 cups warm milk and stir constantly.

  • After mixing well, add pepper, paprika, ground thyme, sea salt, nutmeg and mix well again.next add your garlic and then all 3 of the cheeses.

  • Next, in a large bowl combine all your meats, large elbow macaroni, and cheese mixture.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min. until the top is slightly brown and the mixture is bubbly --- -ENJOY!!
